New Bedford City Planner
The City of New Bedford is embarking on a series of significant new planning initiatives for which it seeks an experienced, visionary and talented city planner.  From the adoption of new form-based zoning and the generation of a new Waterfront Plan with Urban Renewal Areas to the development of an Innovation District, New Bedford is embracing new opportunities that demand a professional planner with exceptional skills.

The City Planner will be expected to lead the City's planning office, a division of the Department of Planning, Housing & Community Development, working with City boards and overseeing staff while participating as a team player in city development projects and community initiatives.
