The MVP 2.0 program expands on the climate resilience work done to date and supports them with new methods. Consultant will support Salem in revisiting community resilience priorities with a focus on equity and translating priorities into action through project development and implementation.
This work will be different from MVP 1.0. It focuses less on understanding how extreme weather events will impact infrastructure and environmental assets and more on building social resilience.

The Boston Transportation Department seeks a consultant to assist with planning, engagement, design, and implementation for approximately three tactical plazas with installation targeted for late Spring 2026. Budget is $200,000; three-year contract.

MassDOT seeks consultant for a Complete Streets (CS) Guide that will include a framework for designers to balance competing needs of roadway users in Mass. The guide should incorporate definitions of key design elements, including cultural, environmental, and context, and include Environmental Justice populations with low motor vehicle ownership. The CS Guide should include best practices, typical concepts, and provide a path for incremental implementation of Complete Streets elements.

Boston Planning and Development Agency needs design and engineering services for the East Boston Resilient Waterfront Project. The project aims to protect residents, buildings, cultural and historic assets, and transportation infrastructure from immediate and long term coastal storm and sea level rise impacts and enhance overall community resilience. Northern Middlesex Council of Governments seeks a consultant for its housing storytelling campaign (part of Ph. 2 of its regional housing strategy, At Home in Greater Lowell). Building on the At Home in Greater Lowell Part 1: Data and Strategies report, this initiative will bring those strategies to life by documenting and sharing personal stories of housing challenges and successes. The Boston Planning Department needs consultants for various urban design tasks. The Planning Department may award up to 5 contracts. Beverly seeks consultant or team to work with the City's Planning and Community Development Department and the City's Economic and Community Development Council to create an Economic Development Action Plan. he Economic Development Action Plan will build on recent planning work to identify implementation strategies, related actions, and community partnerships to meet the City’s broad economic development goals outlined in the City’s Master Plan. Project funded by an $85,000 Housing Choice Grant.
