    MAPC is looking for proposals from qualified Respondents to provide improvements to an existing land use allocation modeling tool. MAPC will be the awarding authority. Proposals will be evaluated against quality requirements and evaluation criteria in the RFP and price. Those Respondents identified as being responsible and responsive and offering the most advantageous proposals against these factors will be awarded contracts.

    Fitchburg is seeking proposals from planning and environmental individuals/firms to prepare Open Space and Recreation Plans in accordance with guidelines and requirements from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Division of Conservation Services. Consultant, in coordination with CDP staff and members of the Open Space Plan Update Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee), will prepare updated Plan that meets all requirements and provides a tool for the City when making conservation and recreation decisions.

    The City of Lynn Planning Department seeks proposals to develop a citywide comprehensive plan in accordance with MGL c.41 § 81D. The City  has appropriated $250,000 for the development of Vision Lynn. The total covers the scope of work & additional expenses (which may include stipends to local organizations to assist with community engagement, meeting materials or translation).  Plan is expected to be completed within 18 months.

    Watertown is soliciting proposals from firms with considerable experience in community design, land use planning, transportation, economic analysis, and citizen involvement/ participation. This plan will provide a foundation for future land use planning, development regulation, and capital improvement planning. The Plan will contain a range of elements with specific emphasis on 1) land use, 2) economic development, 3) transportation, circulation and parking and 4) open space and recreation. The Plan will define a community-based vision created through broad and inclusive public participation.     MEMA seeks a vendor(s) to help communities update or develop a FEMA- approved Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP). All municipalities are required to have a FEMA approved LHMP to be eligible for FEMA’s pre- and post-disaster Hazard Mitigation Assistance grants (HMA).

    MEMA has been awarded funds from multiple sources to assist local communities update or develop a LHMP. The intent of this program is to 100% fund up to approximately 20 local HM plan updates or new plans depending on the number of eligible communities who meet the criteria and wish to participate.
