    The City of Somerville is seeking a consultant with experience with cultural facilities to create a master plan and business plan for its 1903 Armory. This master plan will guide how the Armory will continue to serve as a community center for the arts, such as how the space will be used and managed and how the proposed approach will be financially sustained.

    To develop this plan, the consultant will work collaboratively with the Office of Strategic Planning & Community Development (OSPCD) Economic Development Division, the Somerville Arts Council, and the Capital Projects Division. The consultant will report directly to the Economic Development Division for contract management purposes.

    Boston Transportation Dept. seeks consultant to provide planning, engineering analysis, and concept design services for the JFK/UMass Station Area Action Plan. The Study will recommend specific, actionable improvements for the JFK/UMass MBTA station that will enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access to the station and the public realm around the station site. In line with long-range neighborhood planning and future growth and development contexts, this Study will identify strategies and actionable projects.

    North Attleboro is issuing Requests for Proposals for consultant(s) to develop a mixed-use overlay district & bylaw and to complete a land inventory for strategic planning services. These are separate projects although a consultant can submit a proposal for more than one. North Attleboro is looking for a consultant to work with the Town to create a mixed-use overlay district primarily for these areas and perhaps be a tiered approach. The project can possibly expand to further codification of the zoning bylaws.
