    Boston Environment Dept. is seeking a consultant or consultant team to shape and communicate plans for critical coastal resilience infrastructure. The City is partnering with the US Army Corps of Engineers on a plan to ensure the long-term coastal resilience of Boston.

    Over the 3 years, the Corps will develop designs for coastal resilient infrastructure that reduce risk to the city for generations. The City needs someone with experience in landscape architecture to help provide feedback on these designs and deliver renderings and models of these designs for further public engagement. This project is part of a formal Coastal Storm Risk Management Study and the results will be submitted to Congress in 2028 for approval.

    The Town of Bedford seeks proposals from qualified firms/individuals teams to prepare a new Comprehensive Plan. The current Comprehensive Plan was completed in December 2013.

    MassDevelopment  needs a consultant or team of consultants to develop a master plan for cantonment area of Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC). The goal is to support JBCC's efforts to optimize use of this asset and increase its organizational efficiency, especially as it relates to land use and infrastructure, while enabling and protecting current missions and accommodating future on-base military needs. The master plan also seeks to facilitate adaptive re-use of excess property in the cantonment area to respond to local and regional needs and contexts. This is likely a multi-year process that will include significant community engagement and public participation.

    Boston’s Environment Department issued an RFP for consultant for stakeholder engagement and strategy for decarbonizing buildings with a focus on smaller buildings not required to comply with the City’s Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance. Scope includes a landscape and barrier analysis, facilitating engagement activities including focus groups and stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and a draft report outlining a strategy for program and policy development to advance Boston’s efforts to decarbonize smaller buildings. Budget is about $150,000.

    The towns of Wrentham, Walpole and Norfolk issued an RFQ for consultants to design, permitting and construction plans for phase 1 of the Metacomet Greenway, a 4.5-mile, shared-use path starting at the Lorusso Athletic Complex in Walpole and ending in Wrentham Center at Depot Street. Construction estimate is $19 M.
