Boston Society of Architects presentation:  Emerging Cities: New Cairo and Masdar City

Kishore Varanasi (CBT) and Ned Goodell (Machado Silvetti) will present two recent Middle East projects. Both are developer-driven projects. One mixed-use development in New Cairo and the other is the phase II master plan for Masdar City in Abu Dhabi. Both these projects will illustrate the challenges and solutions to building sustainable cities in harsh and resource scarce environments.
