"Boston and the Making of a Global City"

Former NPS planner and educator Jim O'Connell will introduce "Boston and the Making of a Global City" at Harvard Book Store, 1256 Mass. Ave., Cambridge, on Tues., August 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Jim will be interviewed by Scott Kirsner, business journalist for MassLive.com and formerly for the Boston Globe Business section. The book explains how Boston has been affected by globalization and how it has contributed to it.
