Town of Dighton invites proposals from consultants for a feasibility study to connect the future 2-mile DCR Sweets Knoll Rail-Trail to the fabric of Dighton and part of the Taunton River Trails network. The Trails Committee seeks  professional services from experienced planning, urban design, transportation, or engineering firms to develop a plan for a connection that will address safety and access between the Sweets Knoll Rail-Trail and Taunton River Trails network, identify community goals & priorities, conduct an alternatives analysis of the route & intersection redesigns, and an implementation plan.  Approx. $40,000; must be complete by June 30, 2023.
