The Town of Leverett seeks consulting services for the second phase of a Comprehensive Master Plan. Boston Planning and Development Agency has issued an RFP for a consultant to study strategies to help convert vacant Downtown Boston office spaces to viable uses. Budget is $100,000.

Goals:

• Increase the number of residents in the Downtown area;
• Preserve historic building facades and downtown’s historic character, while providing new mixed uses; and
• Ensure that underutilized Class B and C office space can be efficiently repurposed for new active uses.

Brookline issued an RFP for a consultant to prepare a Community Preservation Plan per M.G.L. Ch. 44B. Working with the Community Preservation Committee, consultant will prepare a plan that "centers on diversity, equity and inclusion in all CPA funding categories and as part of the evaluation and selection process for projects." Estimated budget is $30,000 to $50,000. Final plan due Sept. 1, 2023.
