CPTC Annual Conference 2023
Consulting Planners of Massachusetts is looking forward to hosting a workshop and connecting with other planning professionals at the upcoming CPTC Annual Conference on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Organized by the Citizen Planner Training Collaborative, this year's conference offers 17 workshops on core planning topics and timely planning issues. CPM is a conference co-sponsor and will be hosting a workshop on micromobility. Register to attend today on the CPTC Annual Conference webpage.
CPM conference workshop (CM I 1.5):
How to Make Micromobility Part of Your Town's Transportation Options Directed at planning directors and planning board members, this workshop will provide an overview of micromobility, the regularity framework surrounding this topic and how to make the most of non-auto transportation modes. The presenters will illustrate how planning for micromobility can support downtowns, bolster revitalization efforts and boost healthy living. Topics to be covered include: What is micromobility and why is it a good thing? Regulatory environment around micromobility options What do cities and towns need to do to support micromobility?

AICP members can earn 1.5 Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for this workshop. The conference consists of three workshop sessions, enabling conference attendees to earn up to a total of 4.5 CM credits per person by attending other designated workshops alongside the session offered by CPM.
