Cambridge needs a consultant to assess the financial feasibility of different publicly supported, mixed-income social housing program models for a social housing pilot. Consultant will work with City Staff, task force, and researchers from The Housing Solutions Lab at NYU’s Furman Center.
Consultant needs expertise in housing development finance, housing policy, economic analysis, public investment, and cost-benefit analysis. Tasks include developing pro-forma models detailing development costs, public and private sources of construction and permanent funding, and operational viability of various publicly supported, mixed income social housing prototypes developed on city-owned land.
