    City of Boston seeks a consultant team for a feasibility analysis and concept design of a 0.7-mile greenway over the Red Line tunnel between Ashmont station and Park Street in Dorchester.

    The feasibility study includes site survey, structural analysis of the tunnel, mapping and title search of property ownership within the ROW, preparation of a low-cost, easy-to-implement “Quick Build” design, and preparation of a more capital-intensive, long-term concept design. Project requires close collaboration with the City, MBTA, and members of the Dorchester community. A separate consultant is under contract to plan the engagement process.

    Timeline: "Ideally" the structural engineering, site survey, and ROW scope would be substantially completed within 12 weeks of Notice to Proceed, the Quick Build design would be completed by the end of 2024, and the concept design for the Long Term Plan would be completed by June 30, 2025. Budget is $600,000; contract is 14 months.

    The Boston Transportation Department seeks a consultant for public engagement, planning, concept design and engineering services for Roxbury Resilient Corridors. The scope of work will include three corridors. The first corridor to be studied is Malcolm X Boulevard, with extensive community engagement to "co-develop" a concept design. When finalizing the concept design for Malcolm X Boulevard, the Consultant will start focusing on community engagement on Melnea Cass Boulevard and Warren Street to develop concept designs. Funded in part by Federal RAISE program, the budget is $2 million and the duration is at least three years.

    MBTA issued Request for Letters of Interest to assess sustainable revenue opportunities to fund station capital improvements on the Red Line at TOD locations experiencing rapid growth.

    Scope of services may include: policy review, research, and analysis; review of zoning, land use, development, and their impacts on transit; economic and financial review, modeling, and analysis; identification of public finance best practices, challenges, and strategies; station-by-station development and financing recommendations; and final report detailing policy best practices and frameworks, station-area development context, and public finance strategies. DBE requirement is 16%.
