The No. Middlesex COG issued RFP for a comprehensive Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan for the region’s 9 municipalities. The plan will document the existing network of bicycle and pedestrian amenities, develop a shared vision and goals for an enhanced network, propose a prioritized implementation strategy, and incorporate compelling visual representations of the proposed network.
Optional scope item includes conceptual designs for one or two priority links in the network. Questions due by Dec. 2. Budget is $120,000.

The Charlemont Planning Board needs consultant to update the town's Master Plan. This project aims to create a comprehensive, community-driven document that reflects current needs and aspirations while guiding future development and land use. The current Master Plan was adopted in 2003 and requires an update to address changes in demographics, economic conditions, land use, infrastructure and environmental factors. The updated plan will be a roadmap for sustainable growth and development in Charlemont. Six-month duration.

Boston Transportation Dept. needs a consultant for another go at a Jamaica Plain Centre/South Transportation Action Plan.
Scope includes analyzing existing conditions, identifying and evaluating opportunities for transportation and public realm improvements, supporting community engagement and outreach, developing and rigorously "comparing visionary alternatives," and advancing engineered plans beyond concept stage but not to 25%. Also, scope includes developing 100% engineered plans for approximately two small-scale, low-cost, “tactical” intervention demonstration projects. Budget is $600,000; project ends in fall 2026.

Watertown needs help with its "Study for Improving City-Supported Mobility" to identify the best options to connect people to where they want to go locally without a personal automobile. The Study will help guide short-, medium- and long-term policies over the next decade and beyond.
All work in the Scope of Work/Services shall be conducted within the prism of environmental and fiscal sustainability and resilience and mobility and accessibility. All mobility options and tools shall be studied, including transit, active transportation, and mobility for specific populations.
